According to statistics from the Office of Agricultural Research and Policy of Chile (ODEPA), suppliers shipped 3.4 million tons of fruit worth $ 7.2 million in FOB prices to foreign markets.

According to the final ODEPA report, only in October 2019 there was a drop in fruit exports by 27%. About 74% of the total export volume was occupied by fresh fruits, 18% - concentrates and frozen products, another 8% accounted for dried fruits.

In total, Chileans exported 2.68 million tons to the fresh market in the amount of $ 5.3 billion in FOB prices in 2019. A decrease was observed in physical terms by 6.2% with an increase in value terms by 2.3%. The most exported product was cherry - 220 thousand tons in the amount of $ 1.5 million in FOB prices.
